J'Ouvert Bandleaders Meeting Invitation

The  National Carnival Commission (NCC) cordially invites  you  or a representative to attend our Port of Spain J'Ouvert Bandleaders meeting on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the NCC's  VIP Lounge  at the Queen's Park Savannah, Port of Spain at 5 pm.

The meeting is designed to solicit feedback, and arrive at viable solutions to the ongoing issues  surrounding the  staging of J'Ouvert, as currently transpires in Woodbrook, St. James, Federation Park, St. Clair, and their environs.

The  Minister  of Community Development, Culture and  the  Arts, Dr. The Honourable Nyan  Gadsby-Dolly, as well as His Worship The Mayor  of Port of Spain, Joel Martinez are expected to be in attendance, along with senior  representatives of the NCC.

In  that   regard, we  encourage you   to  join  us  at  this  meeting, which   can  redound immensely to our  collective  benefit, as we strive to bring  greater consensus among the various stakeholders, and  chart  a more  sustainable way  forward for  the J'Ouvert celebrations.
