NCC To Host Viewing Ceremony For Brother Resistance

Port of Spain, Trinidad: Wednesday, July 21, 2021: The National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago (NCC) wishes to advise the public of a special viewing for musical and cultural icon, Lutalo Masimba, more affectionately known as Brother Resistance, on Thursday, July 22 at the Grand Stand forecourt, Queen’s Park Savannah, between the hours of 10 am to 1 pm.

The NCC further wishes to advise all persons interested in attending Thursday’s viewing that strict COVID-19 protocols are being enforced, including the continuous wearing of face masks on the compound and social distancing markers.

Commissioner Masimba will be laid to rest on Friday, July 23, with an intimate Celebration of His Life ceremony. In keeping with his family’s wishes, members of the public are advised that Friday’s service will be a closed affair, open only to immediate family members.

Through the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival World Platform, tntcarnivalworld.com, the NCC’s digital platform, the public will be able to see the pre-recorded footage of Friday’s Celebration of His Life ceremony. The public will be advised to log in to tntcarnivalworld.com when it the ceremony is uploaded early next week.
