National Panorama Small Band Finals 2017

When the Petrotrin/Pan Trinbago National Panorama Small Band Finals gets on the way at Skinner Park, San Fernando, on Thursday 23 February, defending Small Conventional Band Champion Arima Golden Symphony will perform at position 10 in the musical battle to retain the title for another consecutive year.

Under the baton of arranger Terrence “BJ” Marcelle, the Arima -based band will perform “Champions” composed and sung by Winston Scarborough aka De Original De Fosto.

The San Fernando event is the first of two Finals in which the top steel orchestras by an elimination process vie for the coveted titles. The other is the Medium & Large Bands Finals carded for Saturday 25 February 2017 at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain, Trinidad.

Judges in this category are Frank Stanisclaus, Soluna Garnes, Joslynne Sealey, Maria Achaiba, Hetty DeGannes and Vorbin Cordice.
Fifteen (15) of the best of the small bands will be jamming in the “Park”.
