NCC Supports Tobago Carnival 2022

Port of Spain, Trinidad: Monday, August 15, 2022: The National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago (NCC), in standing firm in its support of the upcoming Carnival in Tobago, has taken careful note of certain comments to the contrary in the public sphere.

While the Festival’s planners opted not to access the NCC’s offer to leverage its expertise and resources for the event, the Commission has never wavered in its ongoing moral support of the Festival and its organising committees. Indeed, the Commission continues to wholeheartedly extend its best wishes for a successful, memorable, and fruitful Tobago Carnival 2022.

Seeing the event as a part of wider, national push toward promoting our twin-island Carnival culture, the NCC remains eager to assist, if called upon, in any way that it can, and is committed to the Festival achieving all of its goals, and its sustainable development.

As much discussion and excitement build around Tobago Carnival 2022, the NCC fully intends to stay true to its mandate in service to the people and the Carnival culture of Trinidad and Tobago.
