NCC Celebrates The Life Of Albert Bailey

Port of Spain, Trinidad: September 14, 2022 The National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago (NCC) joins with the national community as we extend our sincerest condolences to the family and loved ones of Albert Bailey, well-known Mas Craftsman and one of the Bailey Brothers; the three whose innovations within Carnival’s art form helped lay the foundation for where it proudly stands today.

A talented wire bender, Mr. Bailey’s influence can be seen on many contemporary and well-known Carnival Kings and Queens costumes. His contributions to Carnival are as invaluable as they are many, and we are forever grateful for his time with us.

With his passing, we have lost an icon and a stalwart of the art of Mas, and like those who have gone before, Mr. Bailey will truly be missed.

May he rest in peace.
