MEDIA RELEASE DEADLINE FOR CARNIVAL 2023 PERMITS

The National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago (NCC) wishes to remind the public of the deadline for application for Carnival 2023 permits.

These permits are necessary for all members of the public driving in Port of Spain on Carnival Saturday, Carnival Monday, and Carnival Tuesday.

All are kindly asked to note that Tuesday, February 14 and Thursday, February 16 are the designated days when vehicle inspections will be carried out for the issue of Carnival 2023 permits.

The NCC One Shop at the Queen’s Park Savannah will be open on these days to facilitate permit applicants. The Shop’s hours are 9 am to 4 pm.

The NCC further reminds the public that they can also apply for Carnival Permits at any of the following three Licensing Offices:

  • Wrightson Road Licensing Office
  • San Fernando Licensing Office
  • Caroni Licensing Office

Please note in order to capitalise on this opportunity the following must be presented:

  1. Driver/operator/owner of the vehicle must at least present a letter from the Band Leader
  2. It is also advisable that persons should take steps to complete the full application process for the Carnival Permit on the same day.

The NCC thanks the public for its ongoing support.
